BACKGROUND
EnviroGulf Consulting was established in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) in September 2006 and later relocated to Brisbane in October 2012. The practice was formed as an individual consultancy based on the Principal's local and international experience over a cumulative period of 45 years (see Principal's Curriculum vitae).
The practice originally started as David Balloch & Associates Pty. Ltd. in Melbourne (Victoria).
The Principal of EnviroGulf Consulting has carried out environmental consulting assignments and/or working site visits in the following countries: Australia, Denmark, Fiji, Ghana, Iraq, Malaysia, Mexico, New Caledonia, Norway, Papua New Guinea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sweden, The Netherlands, The Philippines, United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.
EnviroGulf Consulting is committed to providing professional, cost-effective services that are tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients. The main objectives of the practice are to provide independent environmental consulting strategic advice and technical services to private and public sector clients in the following fields: Oil and gas industry, mining and minerals industry, pulp and paper industry, HVDC electric transmission industry, forestry, port and coastal developments, marine aquaculture and salmon farming. EnviroGulf Consulting also collaborates with other environmental consultants and consulting engineers to provide specialist input to environmental impact documents (e.g., EISs, EIAs and risk analysis).
